Directions & Hours

The Conference House is located in Tottenville at the south end of Staten Island, in the City of New York.  The house is situated in Conference House Park, overlooking Raritan Bay.

Recommended as Visitor Friendly by the Guides Association of New York City.

Hours:
The Conference House is open for guided tours:

Open at other times by appointment for school and group tours – please call 718-984-6046

Admission rates:
Adults are $4; Seniors and students are $3 on a walk-in basis during regular open hours:                                                                                                                                                        Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 1pm to 4pm.

Adult Group Tours outside of regular hours are $10 per person with a 10 person minimum per tour.

School tours are $7 per child, $5 per child for Title 1 schools.

Parking:
Ample parking is available in the Visitors Center lot at the end of Hylan Blvd.

Directions:

By bus:     

S59 (Richmond Ave.) or S78 Tottenville (Hylan Blvd.) to Hylan Blvd. and Craig Ave.  Walk one block south to Conference House Park.

By car:

From New Jersey: Take Route 440 North (Outerbridge Crossing) to Exit 1 (Arthur Kill/Page Ave.).  Make three consecutive right turns onto Veterans Rd. West, Tyrellan Ave., and Boscombe Ave. (which turns into Page Ave.).  Follow Page Ave. to Hylan Blvd.  Make a right onto Hylan Blvd. and continue for 1 mile to end.  Make a left into the Visitors Center parking lot.

From northern Staten Island: Take Route 440 South to Exit 1. Follow the directions above. Or take Hylan Boulevard south to the end.

By train:

Take the Staten Island Railway to the last stop, Tottenville. Exit near intersection of Main St and Utah St. Start out going south on Main St. Turn right onto Craig Ave. Turn right onto Hylan Blvd. Turn left onto Satterlee St. for the Visitors Center or right towards the Conference House.  (note:  walking from Tottenville Station to the Conference House takes about 15 minutes)

There is no food service at Conference House park. However, there are a wide array of restaurants within a short distance.
